Amanda Taylor

Liberal Democrat City Councillor for Queen Edith's, Cambridge

Public meetings

The Liberal Democrat City Council has divided Cambridge into four areas so local matters can be discussed and decided locally.  The area meetings decide on smaller planning applicatons and environmental, leisure and community grants as well as other issues. The police come to every other meeting to present their proposals for policing priorities to the public. The meetings are open to everyone – in fact, they are the best attended council meetings.

The South Area covers Queen Edith’s, Cherry Hinton and Trumpington and meetings start at 7.30 p.m.

The next meeting dates are:

Monday 11th July, Cherry Hinton Village Centre

Monday 26th September, Cherry Hinton Village Centre

Monday 7th November, Cherry Hinton Village Centre

If you cannot come along but would like me to raise an issue on your behalf, please let me know. The agenda can be found on the City Council’s website at:  http://www.cambridge.gov.uk/public/councillors/MeetingsCard.pdf
